I'll start with our house endeavors. In May Rick built a Murphy bed and bookshelves, effectively turning our dining room into our bedroom/library/dining room. We absolutely love having all of our books out of the attic and available! My dad was here the evening we brought all the books down and began sorting by author and shelving. He wanted Rick to go fishing and Rick told him "I'm sorry, I'm getting reaquainted with my old friends!" We are true book nerds!
The room was cream and blue when we bought the house and we changed it to stone and red. Bryan said "Oh no, you're not going to cover up the pineapples!! I like to count those!" Erin said "mmm... looks like Walmart's new colors... not very pretty mommy." Well with support like that...
Rick and Dad worked from a cut list and a hardware kit to frame in the bed and then build the shelves around our very old and warped house!
