Olympics Kelly Style

Inspired by the constant Olympic chatter, Bryan has been moved to design, hold, and compete in his own "Kelly Olympics!"

He spent about three days perfecting his course through trial after trial. Then he began to train in earnest. Many an afternoon would find young Kelly on the obstacles, launching the shuttle cock, perfecting that sponge ball throw, and hopping just one more hop!

Finally when the course seemed perfect, other competitors were invited to join. Enter Erin Kelly, his chief rival! Could she beat him on his own course. Her concentration was phenomenal! Her game face unbeatable! Only the podium would tell!

Chinese Bedroom Drill

"Let's move the girls upstairs into our bedroom."

"Where will we sleep?" " Ummm... in the dining room, with a Murphy bed?" "Ok."

"Well... Bryan should go upstairs too - if his bunk bed will fit. Then we would have 3 extra rooms downstairs."

"Ooooh.... we could make Erin's into a walk-in closet!!"

"So that would leave one guest room, one toy/craft room, and the dining room for card parties when our bed was flipped up."

"Ok! Go! Let's get it done before school starts!"

"Yeah, good plan!!"

Befriending a Chicken

Try as she may, Alannah could not get this escaped hen to allow herself to be petted! She tried throwing peanut shells at her, "boc, boc, bocking" to her... no good. The chicken just kept circling slightly out of her reach. Finally she turned to me in frustration, pointed at the hen and said "No, no, no toooouuuch!!!"
